Max David Predit

Age 66, passed away in his sleep on Sunday morning at home. David was born in Hamilton, the son of the late Max and Elenora (Wimmer) Predit. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He married Mary Sue Herd on November 23, 1968, in Fairfield. He retired in August 2002 after 30 years of service with CSX Railroad. He obtained his private pilot license in 1976. He was a member of Benjamin Franklin Lodge No. 719 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, Syrian Temple, Hamilton Shrine Club and charter member of The Desert Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Predit; brother, Gary (Judy) Predit; and nephew, Bryan Predit. He was a loved brother in law of Richard and Louise Foster of Florida, John and Nancy Herd of Georgia, and Robert and Christine Herd of Hamilton and was a loving uncle to their children, grandchildren and Craig. He was a quiet, gentle man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. It was his request to have no services. Memorial donations may be directed to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229 or charity of donor's choice.
