Mazie Ruth (Meadows) Kleiman

Mazie Ruth (nee Meadows) Kleiman or Micky to those who knew and loved her died March 14th, age 98.  Micky was born December 18, 1926, in Flat Top, West Virginia and was the oldest of 7. Micky met her match in Joe Kleiman whom she married moved to Ohio and lovingly raised 6 children together on Doris Jane Drive. She was a founding member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She made the best apple pies, the softest molasses cookies and made sure no one ever left her home hungry.  She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Joe Kleiman, sisters, Wilda and Punchy, brothers, Earl, and Vernon.  She is survived by so many. Two sisters, Erma and Velma. Her children, Peggy (Dale)Schurfranz, Terry (Steve)Rosenfeld, Joe (Lori)Kleiman, Lisa Lowe, Shelly (Drew)Temmel, Steve (Gina)Kleiman, 18 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. She was a treasure and will be missed terribly.  Visitation will be at 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial (11:00am), Saturday March 22, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Father Larry Tharp officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary's cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association in her name.
