Melissa J., age 64, of Hamilton passed away on March 3, 2020. She was born on August 28, 1955 in Cincinnati to John and Janet (nee Price) Buchanan. Melissa was a receptionist at Cincinnati Financial.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Lawhon; sister, Cheryl Buchanan; best friends, Pam Walker and Casey Howard; fur babies, Tanner, Seamus, and Scarlett; other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Lawhon.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 12- 1 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. 45014. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m.
