Merien Frank Carr

Service for Merien Franklin Carr, 68, former President and CEO of Dorothy Coal Sales, Loveland, OH, will be held Thursday, May 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Tri-County Assembly of God Church, Fairfield, OH, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery, OH. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, OH. Mr. Carr died Saturday, May 21, 2005. Born in Dorothy, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Douglas and Martha Carr. He is survived by his wife, Connie Carr; brother, John Carr (wife, Regina) of Chesapeake, WV; sons, Derrick (wife, Connie), Richard (wife, Laura) and Joseph Carr; and daughter, Micah Carr; stepsons Travis and Trent Barthelmas, and step-daughter, Tara Otten (husband, Brian); grandchildren, Benjamin, Sophia, Chloe, and Hope Carr, Naomie and Katrina Ramirez, Kyle, Bryan and Jessica Barthelmas, Will and Tess Otten; one great-grandson, Ethan Ramirez. He is also survived by his aunt, Edna Henry of Seth, West Virginia, widow of uncle, Benjamin Henry, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by brothers: Robert, William and Marvin Carr.
