Michael Reid Maurer

Passed away suddenly September 22, 2007. The son of Leslie Carol Holden, Esq. and the late Dr. Gerald Louis Maurer; brother of Kurt (Mara) Maurer, Elizabeth Maurer (Michael Zlabinger), Michelle Maurer (Martyn Thomas); step-son of Bernard Satzger; step-brother of Debbie (Kevin) Rosche; grandson of Jean Holden and the late Arch Holden; nephew of Gregory C. (Marty) Holden and Ron (Erika) Maurer; dear friend of Carol Serrone; also survived by other numerous family members and friends. Michael Maurer was a gifted, intelligent and extremely compassionate friend. He furthered his interests by helping the children at Camp Stepping Stone. He was an exceptionally considerate gentleman beyond the pale, with a unique sense of humor. Throughout a life of painful challenges, he showed great courage and tolerance. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.
