Michael Peana

Michael Peana (Mike), age 19, from Fairfield Township, passed away at 5:41 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital after a four-year courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 6, 1986 in Westwood, New Jersey, the son of Robert A. and Linda R. (Longo) Peana. Mike lived in Westwood, New Jersey until the age of 6. He then moved to Ohio. Mike was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, and was a 2004 graduate of Badin High School. He also completed one year at Miami University Hamilton. He loved his family, friends and sports the most. Everyone that ever met Mike liked him; to love him was natural.

Mike is survived by his parents, Robert Peana and Linda (Longo) Peana; one brother, Robert (Adrienne) Peana; three sisters, Bernadette Peana, Marguerite (Eric) Doyle, Gabrielle (Adam)Schul; two nephews, Christopher Michael and Nicolas Adam Schul.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2005, from 2-4:00 p.m. and Monday, October 3, 2005, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Avance funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Catholic Mass and services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
