Michael Everette Proffitt

PROFFITT Michael Everett – age 34 of Colorado Springs, CO formerly Hamilton, OH passed away on October 26, 2018.  He was born February 16, 1984 in Hamilton to Delos Proffitt and the late Nancy Proffitt (nee Yunkman).  On July 27, 2010 in Hocking Hills, Ohio Michael married his wife Rebecca Proffitt (nee Cobb).  Michael was a veteran of the US Army serving from 2007 until his discharge in 2018.  Michael served in Syria during Operation Enduring Freedom. He is survived by his wife Rebecca and their children Blade Michael Proffitt and Gabrielle Virginia Proffitt.  His daughter Jyna Makayla Proffitt and her mother Amanda Day.  His brothers Jon Proffitt and Paul Smith.  In-laws Kenneth and Lori Cobb;  Also survived by numerous family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy and sisters Kimberly and Tracey Proffitt.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2-4PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014 with a Memorial Service beginning at 4PM.  Pastor Duncan officiating.  Memorial contributions may be submitted to the children’s 529 college fund by visiting www.ugift529.com using code J63-H1T.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
