Michael Edward Schaffer

Schaffer Michael E. “The Bulldog” – age 69 of Fairfield passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022.  He was born July 7, 1953 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Carl and Margaret Schaffer (nee Saddler).  Michael is survived by his wife, Karen Schaffer (nee Burwick); daughter Tracie (Steve McComas) Schaffer and son Michael (Mary) Schaffer; grandchildren Ava, Emily, Bennett, Ethan, Alanna and great-grandbaby Ellie; sisters Kathy Livingston, Susie (Dan) Sprowl, Jodi (Jim) Jackson, Laurie Baker, Linda Hall, and brothers Jeff (Maryflour) Schaffer, Jay (Sita) Schaffer and Mark (Tracey) Schaffer; special niece and nephew Amy Marimbire and Jimmy Daniel; also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, family and friends.  To all of the cornhole players who have joined our family, We Love You All!  Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Tammy Daniel.  Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 4PM until time of service (7PM) at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014.  Memorial contributions in honor of Michael may be sent to your favorite charity.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
