Michael Jay Travis

Michael J. Travis (Mickey) – Age 56, passed away at his home in Fairfield, Ohio on October 20, 2025. He was born February 26, 1969, in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio. He graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia with a degree in communications. He was employed by Fidelity Investments. Those who knew Mickey loved his infectious laugh and enjoyed talking about breweries and unique beers and rums. Mickey's greatest love was Shellie who he married 18 years ago and his beloved yorkies Baz and Louie. Mick enjoyed playing golf, keno, reading, and collecting hats and t-shirts on his travels with his wife. It made him very happy to see the sunrise on the beach. Survived by wife Shellie, parents Dave and Joyce Travis, sister Gail (Jeff) Chambers, brothers Randy Todd and Kevin (Penni) Travis, many nieces and nephews and best friend Brett Corwin.
