Mildred Vaught

Mildred Vaught, age 72 of Fairfield passed away Saturday December 24, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 21, 1933 in Somerset, KY, the daughter of Lee and Hannah Mize. On June 8, 1951 Mildred married Raymond Vaught in Somerset. She was a Life Member of the VFW, Landmark Baptist Church and worked for Kahn's Meats until her retirement in 1995.
She is survived by her children, Ray Vaught of Fairfield and Sandra (Marc) Ackman of West Chester; brothers, Wilbur Mize of Independence, KY and Clinton Mize of Bethel, OH; sisters, Faye Brown of Cincinnati, Elva Mack of Cincinnati and Evelyn Nicely of Somerset, KY; grandchildren, Melissa and Marc Ackman; and great-grandchild, Samantha Pendergrass. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Raymond on October 17, 1998.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday December 29, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
