May 14, 1922 — November 21, 2006
Age 84 of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006. She was born May 14, 1922 in Ft. Wayne, IN, the daughter of Dale S. and Alice (Pitts) Wilkerson. On October 4, 1941 she married Joseph M. Volz. Mildred was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Robert D. Volz, Eugene H. Volz; daughters, Julia L. Sharp and Judith A. Franks; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Harold J. Volz.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of Mass of Christian Burial (11 a.m.), Friday, November 24, 2006 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12191 Mill Rd., Cinti, OH 45240, with Father Steve Kolde, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John Neumann Church or Charity of one's choice. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
