Mildred C. Griffith (Millie) 95 years, recently residing in Okeana, OH, passed away August, 8th.
Daughter of Armsy (Dock) Cockrell and Elizabeth Cockrell of Massieville, OH
Surviving daughter, Joan Hittinger and Brother, Edward Cockrell and many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her son, Michael Griffith, sisters Daisy, Susie, Eunice, Mary and brothers, Joe, Herman, Ernest, Kenny, and Art. Millie had seven grandchildren, Michelle of Milan, IN, Michael of Denver, CO, Kelly of Cincinnati, Kris of Edgewood, KY, Abbie of Lake. Mary, FL, Emily of Skaneateles, NY, Ashley of Denver, CO and a very special daughter-in-law, Patty Griffith of Chillicothe, OH. She also had 13 great-grandchildren.
Millie worked most of her life in Chillicothe, OH as a hairdresser serving her customers until she was 85 years old.
Millie was an active member of Miami Whitewater United Methodist Church in Harrison, OH and will be missed by her fellow congregants, children and Sunday School class.
Celebration of Life Services for Millie Griffith will be held September 24 th , 2016 at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
