Myron Arnold Goodwin
December 22, 1916 — December 28, 2009
Age 93 of Hamilton passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born December 22, 1916 in Camden, OH the son of George and Mae (Thrush) Goodwin. On July 2, 1977 Myron married Betty Jane Wagner in Hamilton, OH. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was self-employed as a hairdresser until his retirement in 1986. Myron was a member of the NRA and Immanuel Baptist Church in Hamilton.
He leaves behind his wife, Betty Goodwin; step-children, Paul (Barbara) Anderson, James Anderson and Barbara (Dennis) Rogers; brother, Dean (Elizabeth) Goodwin; sister, Meriam (Lum) Bourne; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Myron was preceded in death by his parents; 1 grandson; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Joe Tassell officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday (Today) at the funeral home.
