MUSCH, Myrtle E.
MUSCH, Myrtle E., age 93 of Hamilton went home on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born July 15, 1912 in Hamilton. On July 8, 1936 she married Elden H. Musch in Columbia, SC. Myrtle worked for the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was involved with Ladies Aide. For the past 20 years, "Myrt" was the smiling face that greeted everyone at Senior Citizens, Inc. of Hamilton. Her devotion and service to her community will be recognized May 17 when she will be inducted in the Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame and be the first recipient of the Senior Citizens of Hamilton, "Timeless Treasure Award".
Ms. Musch is survived by her son, James (Anna) Musch; daughter, Barbara Hall; grandchildren, Cheryl (Mike) Langley, James K. (Shannon) Musch, Tracy Hall, Daniel (Sharon) Musch, Nancy (Dan) Peters; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Nathanael Musch, Matthew Musch, Emma Langley, Joshua Musch, Baby Langley, and Baby Peters; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Atha (Fant) Allen; husband, Elden H. Musch; 2 sisters; 1 brother; and son-in-law, Clifford Hall.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday April 22, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main St., Hamilton, OH 45013. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m, Friday, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Memorials may be made to Senior Citizens of Hamilton, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
