Nancy Cope
July 7, 1932 — January 14, 2009
Age 76 of Fairfield Township passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born July 7, 1932, the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Baxter) Hamilton of East Liverpool, OH. On June 29, 1953 Nancy married Lawrence Cope. He later preceded her in death in 1982. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and being with her friends and family.
Nancy leaves behind her sons, Greg Cope and Doug (Mary Ann) Cope; grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, and Brandon Cope; and great-grandchildren, Evan and Carson Cope; and sister, Sue Ann Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Lawrence.
Prayers will be offered 9:15 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2008 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately, 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. Fairfield. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
