Nancy Kathryn (Gephart) Koger

KOGER Nancy Kathryn, age 89, of Hamilton passed away on February 3, 2014 at Mercy Fairfield. She was born on May 18, 1924 in Versailles, Ohio to Loren A. and Ruth A. (nee Grosvenor) Gephart. Nancy married Milton E. Koger on March 1, 1947 in Versailles, Ohio; he preceded her in death. She leaves to her memory her devoted children, Milton ( Lisa) Koger of Louisville, KY, and Kathryn (Denny) Herbers, of Fairfield; loving grandchildren, Matthew E. (Melissa) Koger, Alyssa K. (Daniel) Ryan, and Mark A. Herbers; dear great grandchildren, Kailey, Emery, and Ellie. Nancy is preceded in death by her, parents; sisters and brothers in law, Carlene and Tom Siehl and Georgia and Johnny Sheehy. She was a 1946 graduate of The Christ Hospital School of Nursing where she attained her Registered Nurse degree. Nancy worked at Ft. Hamilton Hospital and was a public school nurse for the Hamilton City Schools until her retirement. An avid Bridge player, she belonged to numerous Bridge clubs. Her true love was participating and being involved in her family’s milestones and activities.
