FRIES, Nicholas “Nick” R., age 56, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on June 4, 2015. He was born on October 21, 1958 in Portsmouth, OH to Rainer and Darlene Fries. He is the beloved husband of Nancy (nee Snodgrass); devoted father of Adam (Lauren) Fries and Alex (Caitlin) Fries; loving son of Darlene Fries; dear brother of Ann (Mark) Meeks, Michael (Carole) Fries, and Lori (John) Macqueen. Nick is also survived by his brother in law, Robert (Kathy) Snodgrass; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; father and mother in law, Robert and Lois Snodgrass; grandparents, Mike and Helen Strait. Nick was a small business owner for many years in Hamilton. He also coached West Side Little League for over 20 years. Visitation will be Thursday June 11, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12 p.m. at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd. Liberty Twp. 45011 with Rev. Geoff Drew officiating.
