McQUEEN, Ola Bailey
Age 70 of Sardinia, OH, passed peacefully on May 29, 2015 with her family by her side at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born March 20, 1945 in Harlan Co., KY, the daughter of Alec and Minta (Holbrook) Bailey.
“Mimi” enjoyed spending time with family and cooking for her loved ones. You never went hungry while visiting her house. She treated everyone like family and loved for her grandchildren to stay with her whenever possible. She was married to her best friend and soul mate. She loved to laugh and put care of others above herself.
Ola leaves behind her loving family: husband of over 50 years, Melvin McQueen; sons, Buddy (Michelle) McQueen, and Wade (Marsha) McQueen; daughter, Melissa (Mike) Fox; brothers, Emery, David and Raymond; sisters, Elsie, Wilma, Linda and Minta-Sue; and grandchildren, Brandon, Maria, Josh, Nicholas, Jacob, Alex, Wade, and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Belvia and Herbert.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. - until time of services (7:30 p.m.), Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastor Rudy Allen officiating.
