Ollie J. Miller August 9, 1928 – December 3, 2023 Ollie Jean Miller has gone home to Heaven to be with her Lord. She was a caring wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world for her Heavenly home on December 3, 2023, at the age of 95. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 62 years and the love of her life Chester M. Miller. Ollie was an amazing mother who loved her children Marvin D. Miller (Anita), Mervin D. Miller (Sherrie) and Michele D. Smith (Darryl) with unconditional love. Dear Grandmother of 6 grandchildren – Justin (Joni), Jason, Tiffani (Craig), Tim, Paula (Brady) and Jordan. Ollie loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She loved having them around and loved playing games with them. She really enjoyed beating them in Skip-O. Grandma Ollie was the affectionate name that her 8 great grandchildren called Ollie. She loved them all supremely: Austin, Trinity (Kyler), Alivia, Titus, Titan, Trevor, Logan, and Wesley. Ollie was also a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, and aunt to her precious family. She is survived by 3 wonderful sisters-in-law that she considered sisters: Louise Lanham, Shirley Miller and Geraldine (Bill) Barnes. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Chester, son Mervin, parents Claude and Vina Harp, sister Margie Jones, brother John Harp, several in laws, nieces, and nephews that she cherished. Ollie was a godly woman who loved the Lord and she faithfully prayed for her family. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, gardening, sewing, cooking and being surrounded by her family. She was a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed learning to decorate cakes and experimenting with new recipes. Her roast beef and German chocolate cake were a hit at family reunions. Her kindness, huge heart, and gentle spirit will be greatly missed. She made our lives and world a much better place. A celebration of life will be held with a visitation on Monday, December 11 from 11:00-12:00, with the funeral service immediately following at Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery 1602 Greenwood Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011.
