Opal M. Anglin, age 76 of Fairfield went to be with our Lord, Saturday December 24, 2005 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born September 25, 1929 in Hamilton, OH, the daughter of Thomas and Eva (Baker) Williams. On April 24, 1948 in Hamilton, OH, she married Harley E. Anglin. Opal was a member of St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church and Order Eastern Star, No. 195 Washington Chapter, where she held a lifelong appreciation of our Lord's teachings. Opal enjoyed playing gospel hymns on the piano and organ since a child. She was church pianist for Eastview Baptist at age 13. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Donald) Richroath of Palm Springs, CA, David (Vicki) Anglin, and Jim (Melanie) Anglin all of Fairfield, OH; sisters Zula Lewis and Betty Schwab both of Hamilton; brother Lester (Betty) Williams of West Virginia; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Opal will again be united with her husband; parents; brothers, Robert and Herbert; family and friends before her.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday December 30, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Ty Choate officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday December 29 at the funeral home with Eastern Star services beginning at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church, 695 St. Clair Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015 or to the Davis Phinney Foundation (Parkinson's Disease) P.O.
