MITCHELL, Oscar
Age 95 of Fairfield, passed away October 16, 2011. He was born in Loathair KY on September 21, 1916, he was the son of William and Mary (nee Strong) Mitchell. He retired from Fisher Body and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Iva (nee Stamper) Mitchell whom he married in 1939 in Williamstown KY. He is also survived by son, Ralph (Alma) Mitchell; daughter, Joanne (Don) Back; brother, Robert (Alma) Mitchell; two sisters, Dorothy Grace and Ollie (Tom) Hodel; seven grandsons; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Charles E Mitchell.
Services will be held at Central Baptist Church, 7645 Winton Road, Cincinnati OH on October 20, 2011 at 11 am, with a viewing from 10 to 11 am. Visitation will be held October 19, 2011 5 to 7 pm at The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield OH. Condolences may be sent at www.avancefuneralhome.com
