Oscar Shatzer
January 24, 1918 — April 27, 2008
Age 90 of Fairfield formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2008 at Heartland of Woodridge in Fairfield. He was born January 24, 1918 in Tiro, OH the son of Walter and Lois (Walker) Shatzer. On August 7, 1943 Oscar married Mary Barbour in Covington, KY. He worked for DESC as a civil service agent until his retirement in 1982.
Oscar is survived by his children, Dan (Pat) Shatzer of Forest Park, OH and George (Barbara) Shatzer of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife.
