Of Hamilton, Ohio, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, September 7, 2008. She was born August 3, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio to parents Lawrence (Bud) and Ola Fern Hufford. Eyvone married Fred Isaacs in Covington, Kentucky August 31, 1947.
She attended Hamilton City Schools and was a member of the Church of the Brethren through her childhood. She was the owner/operator of City Shoe Repair in the Hamilton Plaza for 25 years. After retirement Eyvone and Fred spent the winters in Florida. They were members of First Baptist Church of Hamilton for 25 years.
Eyvone Isaacs is survived by her husband of 61 years, Fred Isaacs; together they raised five children; Fred, Jr (Carol), Jane (Joe), David (Angela), Barbara (Bob), and Tom (Pam); the doting grandmother to 16 grandchildren and the great-grandmother to 8.
Mrs. Isaacs was 1 of eight siblings. She is survived by Herb Hufford, Barbara (Bob) Rice, and David (Barbara) Hufford. There are 32 Hufford nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 11 AM until 1 PM at First Baptist Church of Hamilton 1501 Pyramid Hill Blvd Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Dr. Dennis Metzger, Rev. William Brantingham, and Mr. Jack Young will officiate at the funeral service immediately following visitation. Internment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. Avance Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
