Pauline Venable
April 5, 1927 — December 9, 2006
Age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2006 following an extended illness. Born April 5, 1927 in Hamilton, she grew up in East Bernstadt, KY.
Pauline leaves her husband of 60 years, James Venable, Jr.; 5 children: James Michael (Diana) Venable, Patsy Leigh (Don) Turman, Jo Ann (Bob) Thomas, Paula Jean (Matthew) Daniels, and Mark Douglas (Nina) Venable; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters, Thelma (Sammy) Stirn and Mildred (Middie) Mardis. Pauline was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Morris; and siblings, Vera (Bee) Parsley, Kenneth Vance and Minnie Spurlock.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hospice of Hamilton and Butler County Care Facility for all of the loving care especially, Carol and Robin.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (11:30 a.m.), Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery in Overpeck. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please send donations in Pauline's memory to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund or to Hospice of Hamilton.
