Phyllis "Pixie" (Wimer) , age 67 of Naples, Florida (formerly of Mason, Ohio) passed away December 31, 2019. Pixie was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ralph and Carrie (Martin) Wimer. Pixie graduated from Green Hills High School, attended IUPU in Ft. Wayne, IN and Miami University, Oxford, OH. She had also just completed and received her degree for Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma and was very dedicated to her continuing education. Pixie worked at First National Bank & Trust Co. in Hamilton, Ohio before becoming a Credit Examiner with the U.S. Government, retiring in 2015 and relocating to her dream home in Naples, Florida with the love of her life spending many happy times in warm weather and on a golf course. Phyllis "Pixie" was an ambassador to the world & delighted in learning new cultures and spreading the goodwill of Americans traveling abroad. She shared so she could connect with others and made time for everyone. Even now, she continues to teach us how life is precious. Phyllis "Pixie" was so full of life and love and will be remembered for her infectious smile and big heart. Phyllis leaves behind her husband, Steve Hendrick of Naples, Florida, children, Marla (Matt) Hosler, 2 grandchildren, Ellabell and Lottie, along with many friends and family who will miss her greatly, and her memory will be cherished by all those whose hearts she touched. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service at 12 Noon at the funeral home with burial to follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
