WAJERT, Ralph

Age 82 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born September 3, 1928 in Pittsburg, PA, the son of Stephen R. and Victoria (Kuklinski) Wajert. On August 31, 1954 Ralph married Dorothy Goldbach. He was a Veteran of the US Army and a member of the VFW Fairfield Post. Ralph worked in the insurance business until his retirement in 1990, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He leaves behind his children, Daniel Wajert of Pittsburg, PA and Linda (Mark) Hensley of Fairfield, OH; grandchildren, Brian Wajert, Stephen Wajert, Kevin Wajert, Katie Hensley, Darin Wajert, Kelin Wajert and Danielle Wajert. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Dorothy Wajert on November 13, 2010.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Visitation will be prior to Mass, on Thursday from 9 - 9:30 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
