Ray W. Snyder
March 21, 1921 — March 3, 2010
Age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was born March 21, 1921, son of Ray and Sarah Snyder. Ray served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was a professional musician throughout his life and in many dance bands, most recently The Paul Ritzi Trio. He retired from Fisher Body in 1983, after over 35 years of service.
Ray is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Snyder; children, Suzete (James) Miller of Phoenix, Arizona and Michael (Linda) Snyder of Middletown, Ohio; brother, James (Carol) Snyder; grandchildren, Timothy Snyder of Cincinnati, Ohio and Bridgett (Gregory) Lehman of Hamilton, Ohio; and great grandchildren, Gregory and Cody Lehman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Snyder; and the mother of his children, Christine Snyder.
Ray's family will accept friends and family from 9am until time of memorial service (10am), Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014.
