TENLEY, Sr. Raymond
Age 61 of Norwood passed away Tuesday May 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born June 18, 1944 in Fredrick, MD, the son of John and Ada (Hines) Tenley. On December 24, 1964 he married Gloria Kirby in Cincinnati. Mr. Tenley was a veteran of the US Army Airborne.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Tenley; sons, Raymond Tenley, Jr., Robert Tenley, and Eric Tenley; daughter, Tammie Evans; grandchildren, Donald, Taylor, Kelsey, Jeremy, Alexis, Rachel, and Austin; brothers, David Tenley and Fred Tenley; and sisters, Anna Clay, Edna Patton, Ellen Hines and Alice Smith. Ray was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday May 5 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday (Today) at the funeral home. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
