WILLIAMS

Raymond L. – age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday January 2, 2015. He was born September 13, 1925 in Georgetown, IL to the late Earl and Lucinda Williams.  In 1946 he married his wife Delpha Mae Williams (nee Cravens) who preceded him in death in 2004.   Raymond was an active member of the Lindenwald United Methodist Church, the Washington Lodge No. 17 F&AM, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Cincinnati and was a passionate tennis player and avid golfer.  In his younger years, Raymond was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 906 and  Lindenwald’s Little League baseball teams.

Ray is survived by his children, Dave (Kathy) Williams, Paul (Mary) Williams and Rae (Richard) Heskett; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; also survived by his close friend Kathy Lovell and numerous family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brothers Orville and Norman Williams.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, 45014 with Masonic services to begin at 730PM.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10AM at the funeral home with Rev. Valerie Waibel officiating.  Burial to follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Lindenwald United Methodist Church.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.avancefuneralhome.com
