Rena Mccollum

Rena McCollum, age 80 of Hamilton passed away Friday May 19, 2006 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1925 in Franklin, OH, the daughter of William J. and Anna (Davis) Blanton. On August 11, 1950 she married Marion McCollum in Hamilton.
Rena is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marion McCollum; son, Glenn McCollum; sisters, Mary Ellen Heading and Edna Christopher; grandchildren, Shawn and Justin McCollum; great-grandchild, Caden McCollum; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marvin McCollum; and siblings, Junior Blanton, Loreen Blanton, Edwin Powell and James Blanton.
Visitation will be 10-12 noon, Tuesday May 23, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Graveside services will be immediately following visitation at Hickory Flats Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
