Richard Allen Morris

Richard Allen Morris, 75, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at UC Medical Center surrounded by his wife and two daughters. Due to current circumstances, a funeral cannot be held. Once people are again allowed to gather, the family will do so and a celebration of life service will be held.

Dick was born on March 11, 1945 in Hamilton, Ohio to Robert and Martha (Strain) Morris. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1963 and from the University of Cincinnati in 1970. On August 1, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart Donna (Stump) Morris. Dick was an architect with a brilliant and creative mind. His signature style is evident in his many commercial and residential projects that he designed and built. From the time he was a kid until he passed, Dick's favorite pastime was building models. He always had more than one in the works. Two currently sit in his home office now. He also loved Disney, dancing and his girls. He was deeply devoted to his wife of 56 years and there was nothing he was more proud of than his children and grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his wife, Donna; his daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Marvin Spradling, Holly and Thomas Espy; his grandchildren, Taylor Morris Spradling, Victoria Rene' Spradling and Hayden Kleberg Espy; his brother and sister-in-law: Douglas and Jean Morris; his sister, Patricia Goins; and several nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents.
