Rita Kay (Oliver) Prevette

PREVETTE, Rita Kay, age 71, of Hamilton passed away on October 2, 2015. She was born on March 11, 1944 in Falls City, Nebraska to Claire and Patricia Oliver. Rita is the beloved wife of Ralph; devoted mother of Kim (Dan) Perry and Brian Prevette; loving grandmother of Nathan. She is also survived by her brother, Lyle L. Oliver and many dear friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. A graduate of Miami University, Rita was a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She was the Choir Director and Organist at 9th Street United Methodist from 1979-1981. Rita founded the garden club at Walden Pond and served as the President from 1999-2000. She also was the secretary of the Redeemer Church Breakfast Club and designed the flower garden around the flag pole at the church. Visitation will be Friday October 9, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
