Robert J. Almond, Sr.

Bob passed on December 25, 2009. Survived by his wife, Jean A. (Zimmermann); sons, Peter W. (Robin) Almond, Robert J. Almond Jr., Paul D. (Dr. Andrea J.) Almond, Richard V. (Tamara S.) Almond, and step-son, Scott J. (Christina L.) Bolon; Grandchildren, Gregg W. Almond, Michael T. Pace, Jordan A. Dunbar, Patrick S. Hartman, Emily L. Almond, Madison D. Almond, Richard V. Almond Jr., Kaleb S. Bolon, and Dawlton J. Almond; Great-grandchildren, Hendyn M. McGill, Trinity D. McGill, and to arrive soon, Danica D. Pace; Brothers, William (Judy) Almond, Samuel Almond, Harold (Linda) Almond and John (Nece) Almond; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, William Henry Almond and Mary Rita (Korovesi) Almond; and daughter Dawn Michelle Almond. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963. Employed at the U.S. Postal Service in 1966 and retired in 1992. Bob lived for his family, was an avid golfer, loved crossword puzzles and trivia.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. - until time of service (2:30 p.m.), Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
