Robert Andrew Butsch

Robert “Bob” A. Butsch, age 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday May 6, 2026.

He was born on November 30, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a graduate of Colerain High School, he began his career as a machinist, working his way up to mechanical engineer at GE Aircraft Engines, while also attending the University of Cincinnati. He was a Freemason and enjoyed reading, listening to a wide variety of music and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirley (Ryan) Butsch, his two brothers, Thomas and David, and his loving wife, Gwendolyn (Charles) Butsch.

He is survived by two daughters, Dawn and Stephanie Butsch, a granddaughter, Jade Bardoff, his sisters, Susan Butsch, Juanita Burke and Marilyn Butsch, a brother, William Butsch, and two brother-in-laws, Bruce and Scott Charles, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

A private family service will be held to honor Bob’s life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
