COCHRAN, Robert (Bob) F.

Age 95, went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2019 with family by his side. Bob was born January 17, 1924 in Dresden, OH, the son of Wilmer and Mary (Comer) Cochran. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WW II from 1943-1945. He was married to K. Jeannette Parrish until her death and later Eleanor Kjelby. Bob was a Boy Scout (Eagle Scout) and continued his Scouting passion, becoming a Professional Scout Executive serving as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America- Dan Beard Council. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob was a Magnum Cum Laude graduate from the University of Cincinnati and member of the UC Glee Club. Bob’s singing talents were featured in his Church choirs and the Middletown, OH Barber Shoppe ensemble- the “Razor’s Edge”.

He leaves behind his loving family: children, Chris (Debbie) Cochran; Gayle (Dave) Naftzger. Grandchildren; Dylan, Cameron, Benjamin and Annie. Great-grandchildren; Joshua, Geoffrey, Kara, Dylan, River and Abby.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings; Russell, Elizabeth, Mary Jane and Wilmer (Bill).

Visitation will be 10 a.m. – until time of service (11 a.m.) Friday, November 22, 2019 at Tri-County Assembly (TCA, Campus Chapel “C”) 7350 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH   45014 with Pastor Brad Rosenberg officiating.  Private family burial services will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.

Memorials may be made to Dan Beard Council- Boy Scouts of America, Convoy of Hope,  or Mercy Health Foundation- Cincinnati.   The family will graciously accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
