Robert C Dorton

Age 78, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008, in West Chester, Ohio.

Robert leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Peggy Dorton; two children, Timothy (Lisa) Dorton and Edie (Rick) Demasters; siblings, Jim (Annette) Dorton, Ruth (James) Austin, and Nell Barnes; grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Waldroff, Stephen, Timothy, and Samantha Dorton; and step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Staci Demasters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Goldie Dorton; and brother-in-law, Sam Barnes.

The family will be accepting friends and family from 11am until time of memorial service (12noon), Friday, September 12, 2008, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield, Ohio. Graveside service will directly follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio, with Pastor Edwin Armitage officiating. Memorials may be sent to the Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243.
