Robert Edward (90) Robert “Bob” went home to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on July 31, 2018. He was born to Adalia and Alvan Haydon of Hamilton.  Bob married the love of his life Wilma J. Conley, January 7, 1950.

Bob worked at Hamilton Caster Co, Delco Remming and Auto Lite from 1942 to 1959.  In 1959, he went to work for the City of Fairfield Water Dept. until 1987, when he retired as water superintendent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, sister and brother in laws.  He is survived by his children Vicki and Jim Tillery, Bob and Faith Haydon, Daryl and Jean Haydon, and Tina Haydon. He is also survived by his grandchildren Janice Stone, Amy Haydon, Vanessa Wyatt, Kristen York, Rebecca McGill, Robert “BJ” Haydon and great grandchildren Hannah, Jacob, Justin and Haley Wyatt, Isaac Klute, Emma McGill, Xavier and Elinor Haydon, Aiden and Ava Stone, and Landen York.

He was a member of Fairfield West Baptist Church for the past 45 years, serving as a deacon and a choir member.  He was also involved in and oversaw building and remodeling projects.  He was a prayer warrior and encourage to many.  Most importantly he was a born again believer in Christ Jesus for 56 years

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Behler and Dr. Pius Manavulan for their special care and Hospice of Cincinnati for their care during Dad’s transition.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 4 at Fairfield West Baptist Church 5345 Muskopf Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. , immediately followed by the  funeral service at noon.  Please make memorial contributions to FAIRFIELD WEST BAPTIST CHURCH.
