SKIRVIN

Robert H., age 82 of Hamilton, OH passed away April 9, 2016 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born February 20, 1934 in Sanders, KY to Robert and Agnes Skirvin. On July 16, 1955 in Field, KY he married Mary Jesse. Robert was called into the ministry at an early age and began studying to become a pastor. He graduated from Clear Creek Baptist College, Cumberland College, and Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received the Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Brother Bob as he was affectionately called by many, came to Ohio in July of 1967 to become the full time pastor of North Fairfield Baptist Church, where he served faithfully for 37 ½ years before retiring in December of 2004. He is survived by Mary his wife of 60 years, his son Larry (Kim), granddaughters Jamie (Steve) Anderson and Jessica Skirvin, Brother and Sister in law Herb and Peggy Ulrich, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday April 13, 2016 from 10 am -12 pm at North Fairfield Baptist Church, 6853 Gilmore Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 followed by services at 12:00 pm with Rev. Mark Wilson officiating. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
