Robert (Bob) Philip Weber, age 78 of Fairfield, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He passed peacefully at his home, with loved ones by his side.

Bob will forever be remembered by his loving family. His wife of 57 years and eternal soul mate, Mary Ann (Nichols). His son, Doug and his wife Shannon along with their children Trenton, Logan, Virg and Kirsten. His daughter Robin and her husband Sean along with their children Wyatt and Quinn. His siblings (and their spouses): Bill (Judy); Ed (Kim); Jimmy (Linny) ; Joe ; Chris ; Netty (Jerry). Bob will be remembered by many other family and friends, for he made lasting impressions with his wide grin smile and genuine compassion on everyone he encountered.

Bob has entered heaven to be greeted by the loved ones that have gone before him. His parents Francis and Della; his siblings Mary Kay, Philip, Patrica; grandchildren that were lost both before and right after birth; close friends and family. May he be overjoyed by being reunited with them.

Bob was an Elder High School graduate, an Army veteran (stationed in Germany), a railroad conductor and happily retired. He enjoyed his morning coffee and newspaper crosswords, collecting Civil War and railroad memorabilia, laying on the couch with grandkids climbing on top of him and taking walks with his wife. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and he always let them know. Bob was always willing to help someone in need, is a disciple of Christ and has a sincere love for Mother Mary.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 for friends and family to pay their respects. A Catholic service will be held on June 24th at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 followed by a procession to Old St Joseph Cemetery, 3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205 for final resting.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude towards all the medical staff that assisted during his final battle. Everyone was very courteous, helpful and sincere in his aid. He could not have been at such peace in the end without their caring help.

If you wish to make a charitable donation on Bob’s behalf, his request was that it be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Rev 21:4
