Roberta Rae, age 69 passed away on Friday October 28, 2011 at The Christ Hospital. She is the devoted mother of Peggi C. (Bill) Johnson of Cincinnati, Carrie S. (Steve Wallace) Carr of Hamilton, and Robert A. (Rohel Leah) DeLacroix of Denver; loving grandmother of Desiree (Bryan) Herzner, Sarah (Paul Miller) Johnson, Billy Johnson, Tony Carr, Tamara McIntosh, Britni Carr, and Cory Fackey; dear great grandmother of Ashely, Brandon, Zachary, Cameron, Rylee, Caleb, and Brennan. Also survived by her brothers Steven (Cindy) Gudgell, David Campbell, Shane Campbell; sisters,Penny(Bob)Downard, Carla Melloy, Vicki (William) Proctor, Sally Webster,Kathy (Ronald) Smith, and Gina Asbury; and her dear Aunt Mary Lou; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roberta was preceded in death by her son, Delbert V. DeLacroix; father Carl Campbell; her mother Jean Gudgell; her sisters Beverly Parker and Nancy Morris; brother Frank Campbell; her step-mom Libby Campbell; step- dad Herbert Gudgell; and aunt Clara Davis.

Roberta was a fanatical Reds Fan and she was in every parade in Hamilton in her wheelchair. Family would like to express special thanks to all the nurses in the MICU at The Christ Hospital. The family would also like to thank the Butler County Care Facility for their loving care of Roberta.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 1, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. David Zeigler of Laurel Ave. Church of Christ officiating.
