Robert "Bob" Burgin

Robert “Bob”, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Hospice of Hamilton. Bob was born on May 5, 1953, in Norfolk, Va. to Wilbur and the late Patsy Burgin.
Bob is preceded in death by his beloved husband, Jack “Dave” Bennett, who died on March 3, 2016.
Bob is survived by his father, Wilbur Burgin; sister, Barbara and her husband Nick Vlattas; brother William Burgin; niece, Kristen Vlattas; nephew, Nicholas Vlattas; grandniece Eleni Sarantakos; sister in law, Ruthann (Doug) Goodpastor; and a host of dearly loved friends.
Bob graduated from Virginia Tech and spent his career as a nuclear health physicist working for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other companies in the nuclear industry.
