Robert "Bobby" Harrison

Bobby Harrison Robert “Bobby” Harrison, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 77. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Christi (Fox) Harrison and daughters Robin Harrison and Amanda (Patrick) Harkins.  He was a proud grandfather to twins Addison and Harper Harkins.  He will be mourned by his siblings Eileen Davis, Saundra Lynn McBride-Ruffin (Denise), Arthur Harrison and Pamela Thompson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Harrison and Martha (Bragg) Norris. Bobby attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1966. He went on to study at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, which led to his profession in graphic art and advertising. He spent years working for Federated Department Stores Inc and The Drackett Company, providing him invaluable experiences and lasting friendships. As an entrepreneur, he founded a successful graphic design business, merging creativity with his business acumen. For decades, he worked as a creative video director and cover designer for the Cincinnati Jazz Festival, an event he looked forward to every year. Bobby was an art enthusiast and musician who taught himself to play the drums at an early age performing with numerous bands for over 45 years and reveling in the energy of live music.  For over 26 years, Bobby battled non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and CLL, but beat the odds and inspired others along the way. Bobby was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His positive spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched with his infectious smile.  The family requests that sympathy be expressed through memorial contributions to Hospice of Hamilton or the American Cancer Society.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, from 5:00-7:00pm with a short memorial beginning at 7:00pm.
