Robert F. "Big Bob" Rumpler

RUMPLER, Robert F “Big Bob”., age 74, of Hamilton passed away on December 18, 2015. He was born on October 15, 1941 in Hamilton to Robert C. and Lorraine Rumpler. On December 12, 1976 he married Marilyn Jones Wells. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn; children, Robert F. (Julia) Rumpler Jr. and Yvonne Wells; special grandson, Noah Cornett; brothers, Dave Rumpler and Bill (Elaine) Rumpler; sisters, Linda (Don) Whitaker and Judy (Gary) Walden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, especially Mark; many cousins, especially Mike; many special friends, especially Buddy LeRoy; and Uncle Dick Rumpler. Bob was a man’s man; outdoors man all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bob was a member of Moose Lodge #501 Middletown and VFW Post 1577 Camden. Memorial contributions for his grandson's education may be given to Marilyn. Visitation will be Saturday December 26, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield 45014. Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev.
