RITCHIE, ROBERT “RAWLO” H.
Rawlo of Fairfield, Ohio passed on Veterans Day, one hour prior to his 56 th birthday, 11 Nov 2014.
He was born in Cincinnati Ohio 12 Nov 1958 to the parents of Robert B. and Jeanne Ritchie (Lowry).
Bob worked as a landscaper, carpenter and a cabinet maker for over 30 years. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, riding his motorcycle, canoeing, music and all sports. He is a recent graduate of Cincinnati State, graduating Cum Laude.
Rawlo is survived by his wife Cynthia Baker-Ritchie (Brennan) his father Robert Ritchie, siblings Steve (Mag-Dattum) Ritchie and Jill (Prunce) Ritchie-Brooks (nicknames courtesy of Rawlo), in-laws Bill and Sherrie Baker, two sons Tyler and Trevor Ritchie and daughter Christina Kasnic. 4 grandchildren, Desiree Armstrong, Carlos Hensley, Andrew and Conner Hubbard-Ritchie. 7 nieces and nephews, Meghan, Taylor, Adam Ritchie, Meagan and Kirk Hastings and his “Bestest” buddies, Caramel, Chewy and Stubby and many, good, caring friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne Ritchie and parents in-laws Bill and Sylvia and granddaughter Destiny Armstrong.
He proudly served in the US Army from Dec 1978 – Jul 1981. He was assigned to the 82 nd Airborne Division, FT Bragg, NC as a Combat Surveyor.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. – until time of service (3 p.m.), Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Family requests donations go to a charity of choice or to the National Foundation for Cancer Research: http://www.nfcr.org/brain-cancer-research
