Roger F. Kolde

KOLDE

Roger F., age 84, of Fairfield and Sarasota passed away on December 12, 2020. He was born on June 27, 1936 in Cincinnati to the late Edgar and Florence Kolde. Roger retired from the City of Cincinnati as a supervisor of highway maintenance in 1990; a member of McMakin Lodge No. 120 F. &A.M. and Scottish Rite; and served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.

On April 28, 2002 he married Doris Brown; she survives him. Roger is also survived by his children, Kenneth (Deanna) Kolde and Kyle (Anne) Kolde; grandchildren, Kelly Kolde, Jordan (Joey) Williams, Audrey Kolde, Kristopher and Evan Kolde; great grandchild, Joseph Williams; step children, Harold Brown, Sherry (Jack) Pladdys, Delbert (Diane) Brown, Curtis Brown, April (Terry) Phillips; niece, Marsha (Chuck) Dunn; nephew, Bruce (Carol) Bogen; numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara (nee Stewart) and sister, Janet Bogan.

Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield 45014. At 6:30 p.m. Masonic Services will begin followed by Scottish Rite ring service.  Funeral service Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. at Fairfield West Baptist Church, 5345 Muskopf Rd. Fairfield 45014.
