Roger F. Moss
April 17, 1934 — February 21, 2007
Age 72 of Fairfield Township, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born April 17, 1934 in Nashville, TN, the son of Fred F. and Beulah (Woodard) Moss. On August 2, 1958, Roger married Rita Flynn in Hamilton. Roger worked at Champion International Papers for 33 years, retiring in 1998.
His greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Rita Moss; children, Rhonda (Rob) Powers, Steven Moss, Cathy (Jim) Gay, Douglas Moss, and Carol (Mark) Luensman; grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Fitton, Ryan and Tyler Gay, Corey, Brooklie, and Zachary Moss, and Jessica, Kaitlyn, and Kyle Luensman; sisters, Freddi (Luther) Turner, Lois Ray, and Jeannie (Eddie) Cole. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ella Smith and Wilma Spencer.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Edward Crane, Mercy ICU nurses, especially, Leslie, Vanessa, and Francie.
