Roger Henry Spatt

Spatt, Roger H. 76, died on December 29, 2014, in Fairfield, OH. He was born on July 3, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI to Sigmund and Ruth Spatt. Roger was married to Beverly A. Ford, who preceded him in death in November 2008. He was an Army veteran and a sharpshooter (Rifle M-14). He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical workers (IBEW) Local Union 134, Chicago IL, and of the Kentucky American Legion. Roger is survived by his sister, Linda (Ray) DeShong; brother, Harold Spatt; children, Martin (Lizette) Spatt, Andrew (Mary) Spatt; grandchildren, Cassandra Kearns-Gabriel, Nick Godwin, Veronica Fisher, Caleb, Micah, and Abigail Spatt; great grandchildren, Dalton Kearns-Gabriel, Jackson and Graham Fisher. Roger was also preceded in death by his parents, son, Dale K. Spatt, and sisters Marilyn Arle and Eileen Miller.

Visitation is at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Ladwig officiating at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH   45014.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project ( www.woundedwarriorproject.org ).
