Ronald D., age 71, of Hamilton passed away on June 6, 2016. He was born on March 20, 1945 in Richmond, KY to Kerns and Mamie Bolton. On August 12, 1967, Ron married Judy McGreevy. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; devoted and loving children, Christina (Craig) Singleton and Heather (Joel) Gross; dear grandchildren, Nathanael, Caleb, Eli, Ethan, Adam, Braxton, and Barrett. He is also survived by his sister, Faye (Jack) Baker; brother, Kay (Sarah) Bolton; nieces, nephews, and friends. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Kenneth, Marvin, and Donald Bolton. Ron served his country during the Vietnam War as a Specialist in the Army. He worked as a mechanic for the city of Fairfield until his retirement. Ron was also a member of the Auxiliary Police for Fairfield. Visitation will be Thursday June 9, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Rollins of Rolling Hills Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors.
