Ronald F. Laino

April 1, 1954 — June 8, 2005

Ronald "Ron" Laino, age 51 of West Chester passed away June 8, 2005 at Hospice of Hamilton after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born April 1, 1954 in Woodmere, NY the son of Adolph and Josephine (Vilardi) Laino. On October 11, 1980 he married Debra Monsipapa in Woodmere, NY. Ron enjoyed helping others, which was expressed routinely through many things such as, his volunteering with the Woodmere Fire Department, and initiating a program to serve the needy in the community called "Shoe's for the Shoeless". Ron will be best remembered for his passion of entertaining and cooking for others, whether at home or the restaurant. His funny, wacky sense of humor will be greatly missed by many. Ron has left us with endless memories, one-liners, and laughs.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Laino; his father, Adolph Laino; his children, Suzanne (Alan) Truett, Michelle Laino, Christopher Laino, Jonathan Laino, Allison Laino, Catherine Laino and Casey Wombles; grandchild, Matthew Truett; brothers, Duffy, Jr. (Ellen) Laino and Robert (Lucille) Laino; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and Steeler the cat. He was preceded in death by his mother.
