NISTLER
Ronald L., age 83, of Hamilton passed away on February 3, 2017 at Westover Retirement Community.
He was born on September 8, 1933 in Hamilton to the late Martin and Irma (nee Compton) Nistler. Ronald graduated in 1951 from Hamilton Catholic High School; served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict; and he was the proprietor of Nistler’s Garage in Hamilton.
He is survived by his fiancé, Mary Pyles; sisters, Charlotte Orschell, and Marilyn Schlabach; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dennis Nistler, Daniel Nistler, and Carol Meister; and his niece, Becky Werner.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the care of Ronald to the staff of Westover Retirement Community and Hospice of Cincinnati. Memorial Contributions may be offered to the Becky Werner Scholarship Fund, Oldenburg Academy; and the Carol R. Nistler-Meister Scholarship Fund, Badin High School.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Julie Billiart Parish, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton 45011. Visitation will be an hour prior. Burial will follow at St Stephens Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
